No natural gas distribution, and this one was checked twice because East Hawkesbury WAS a named recipient. Ontario's Natural Gas Expansion Program funded $4.45M in 2021 to bring gas to about 318 homes and businesses in Chute-à-Blondeau and along Front Road, for service in 2025. Enbridge cancelled the project in September 2025 — it no longer met the financial thresholds the OEB requires — and it is absent from Enbridge's current community-expansion list. The OEB's franchise map records no franchise area in the township.
