Water

Prince has no municipal water system.

Households supply their own water — most often a drilled or dug well, sometimes a lake or river intake or a cistern — and treat and dispose of their own wastewater with a septic system. There is no municipal water bill here.

Recorded source notes

CONFIRMED no municipal water/sewer utility via deep-search pass (2026-07-23): found the township's own O.Reg 170/03 Annual Report for 2018, still hosted live on princetownship.ca, for Drinking-Water System Number 260035230 ("Prince Township Office Well Supply") -- this is the ONLY registered drinking-water system under Prince Township's name, and it is categorized "Small Municipal Non-Residential - Designated", i.e. a well serving only the township office building itself, not a residential distribution network. No O.Reg 453/07 financial plan exists for Prince Township, consistent with no licensed residential system requiring one.

How this was matched

Electricity distributors come from the Ontario Energy Board’s own licensed service-area map, matched against Statistics Canada municipal boundaries. Natural gas rate zones are published by the OEB per franchise area. Rate zones within a distributor — Alectra’s five, for instance — are matched from each zone’s legacy utility, each one individually sourced.

This resolves to the municipality, not to your street address. Where a boundary runs through a town we show the recorded suppliers rather than picking one, and your own bill is the final word on which you are on.
